Our Clivia Show Achievements: A Record of Excellence (2004–2016)
As a specialist Clivia nursery dedicated to developing high-quality Miniata and Interspecific lines, we have participated in South Africa’s leading Clivia shows for more than 2 decades. This consolidated record highlights our gold medals, podium placements, and major awards from 2004 through 2016, demonstrating our long-term commitment to breeding strong plant structure, superior colour, and exceptional flower quality.
Building Our Foundation: 2004–2008
2004 – Our First Show
We entered our first Clivia show with eight plants and achieved three gold medals, establishing a strong foundation for the years ahead.
2005 – EPCC Show
Seven plants were entered, all of which placed, with four gold medals awarded.
2006 – EPCC Show
Five entries produced three gold medals, confirming early breeding success.
2007 – GRCC Show
A breakthrough milestone year with ten plants entered, five gold medals, and our first podium placement:
1st Runner-Up to Best on Show.
2008 – EPCC Show
Eight plants were shown and six gold medals awarded.
2008 – Hermanus Clivia Club Show
Six entries achieved three gold medals and 1st Runner-Up to Best on Show.
